In each of its four divisions, Xhale's team is dedicated to transforming healthcare through the application of exhaled breath in medicine and healthcare. The SMART Pharmaceutical division is working toward a world where breath-detectable SMART™ drugs are routinely used to increase drug safety and efficacy. The Clinical Trials division is introducing SMART technology to pharmaceutical companies for monitoring compliance in clinical trials. The Anesthesiology division is working toward breath-based Propofol monitoring for ORs and ICUs, and the Diagnostics division is dedicated to making breath-based diagnostics the standard of care in every applicable market.

• Clinical Trials Monitoring

  Xhale's clinical trials monitoring system - a line of breath-based Medication Adherence monitors and SMART™ versions of trial drugs - provides the first method of proving that clinical trial participants took the right medication and the right dose at the right time during a clinical trial.

• SMART™ Drugs

  Xhale's Self-Monitoring And Reporting Therapeutics (SMART™) enables any therapeutic drug to be made breath-detectable, with unique markers which are released upon ingestion and measured in the breath with a small Xhale monitor.

• Anesthesia Monitoring

  Xhale's breath-based Propofol Monitor will be the first to allow monitoring of ongoing blood levels of propofol, the most commonly used IV-based anesthetic agent, providing anesthesiologists with a monitoring system for Propofol similar to that provided for gas anesthetic agents.

• Breath Diagnostics

  Xhale's diagnostics pipeline includes breath-based Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, and devices to replace current blood and urine tests with real-time, point-of-care/point-of-need breath-based devices. These non-invasive breath-based diagnostics will be fast, easy to use, pain-free, safe and accurate.
