Improving lives through innovation and technology.

We identify needs, create solutions and advance novel technologies for personalized medicine and point of need monitoring.

Xhale is a true medical technology innovator, developing products that are designed to transform healthcare and save lives. Our two principal product lines - Assurance® and SMART® - are both intended to address major unmet medical needs. Both product lines are based on broad technology platforms with strong intellectual property protection.
Assurance® is a patient monitoring technology that enables the monitoring of multiple additional patient parameters beyond pulse oximetery, all from a comfortable and convenient single-point-of-contact sensor on the nasal ala (the fleshy side of the nose). The ultimate in patient comfort, Assurance® reduces false alarms associated with conventional finger pulse oximetery, and offers a faster response time for oxygen saturation, as well as enables the monitoring of respiration-related parameters.

SMART® is a novel technology being developed to definitively monitor drug medication adherence in real-time. SMART® will enable pharmaceutical companies to know who is taking the medication and who is not. The system will enable real-time call-backs to the trial participants within a short time after they miss a dose. The anticipated benefits can directly impact the success of drug approval, and help to provide safer, more effective drug development. We intend to initially apply our SMART® technology in the clinical trial market.
